Dr. Evan Cosgrove
Dr. Cosgrove was born and raised in Camarillo, a small suburban city in Southern California. His passion for animals began just before high school when his family adopted two cats, one of whom still remains a cherished companion. This early experience inspired a lifelong commitment to animal care.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Animal Science. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from UC Davis in 2025, where he served as Class President and was inducted into Phi Zeta, the veterinary honor society.
Driven by a deep connection to animals and a desire to advocate for their well-being, Dr. Cosgrove chose veterinary medicine as a way to combine science, problem-solving, and compassion. His professional interests include surgery, animal welfare, and the One Health approach to veterinary care. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association.
At home, Dr. Cosgrove enjoys life with his wife, Kaitlin, their Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix, Lupin, and their senior cat, Sheldon. Outside of veterinary practice, he loves spending time with friends and family, watching sports, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
